The only solid news about the Cambridges is no news. There were no pictures from their weekend at Birkhall, which is to be expected and appropriate, and they were not present at the Braemar Gathring on Saturday when the Queen attended. Most magazines are releasing their synopses of the Canada tour, and Hello! has featured Kate on their cover yet again, which is fine by me!
Clarence House tweeted that William and Kate donated a Land Rover they received as a wedding gift to a rescue team in the Lake District. These cars are worth £45,000 and the team had been attempting to raise that much to replace one of their own, so this was a lucky break.
There have been rumors that Will and Kate have chosen/been assigned another overseas tour for next year. The story goes they are headed to the Caribbean, but right now I leave this in the rumor column pending significant further confirmation.
Meanwhile, the usual Pippa sightings in London. On Friday (September 2) she was out in this really cute filmy top. I love everything about it!
